By accessing this website, making a reservation, or staying at Fiddler Lake Resort, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree, you must not use the website or complete a booking.

2. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by:

• The Civil Code of Québec
• The Consumer Protection Act, Québec
• The Regulation respecting tourist accommodation establishments
• Applicable federal laws of Canada

All disputes are subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Québec, Canada.

3. Reservations & Payment

All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation.

• Rates are listed in Canadian dollars
• Applicable taxes and fees apply
• Promotions are subject to conditions, blackout dates, and eligibility requirements
• Promotions cannot be combined unless expressly stated

Fiddler Lake Resort reserves the right to cancel reservations obtained through fraud, misrepresentation, or violation of these Terms.

4. Security Deposit

A security deposit may be required prior to check-in.

The security deposit will only be released once it is confirmed that the property has not been damaged.

Deductions may apply for damages, missing items, excessive cleaning, unauthorized events, or policy violations.

5. Use of Property

The Resort consists of privately gated full log chalets rented in their entirety.

Guests agree to:

• Respect occupancy limits
• Comply with resort rules and posted signage
• Dispose of waste properly
• Supervise children at all times
• Respect neighboring chalets and quiet enjoyment

Unauthorized events, excessive noise, illegal activity, or property damage may result in immediate removal without refund.

6. Amenities & Seasonal Access

Amenities may include indoor and outdoor pools, trails, sports courts, lake access, and recreational facilities.

Availability may vary due to seasonality, weather, maintenance, safety regulations, or operational requirements.

Amenities are provided on a best-effort basis and are not guaranteed.

7. Events

Events require prior written approval.

Additional fees, rental equipment charges, and insurance requirements may apply.

Unauthorized gatherings constitute a material breach of these Terms.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Québec and Canadian law:

• Guests assume all risks related to recreational activities, including pool, lake, and sports use
• The Resort is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal property
• Liability is limited except in cases of gross negligence or intentional fault

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability where prohibited by law.

9. Force Majeure

The Resort is not liable for delays, cancellations, or service interruptions caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government action, public health measures, or utility failures.

10. Privacy

Personal information is collected and processed in accordance with Québec privacy legislation and PIPEDA.

Information is used solely for reservation management, marketing/advertising, communication, billing, and legal compliance.

11. Modifications

Fiddler Lake Resort reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time.

The version in effect at the time of booking governs the reservation.
