Moose 89 is a stunning two-storey chalet with 6 bedrooms and 5.5 bathrooms.
The main floor features a fully equipped kitchen, a dining area, a large living area with a wood burning stone fireplace, cathedral ceilings and large windows with magnificent views of nature. There is also a master bedroom on this floor with a king bed, an en-suite bathroom and direct access to the backyard. A powder room and laundry room are also conveniently located on this floor. In addition, on this level you can enjoy a second seating area with a sofa bed (bedding included) and a dedicated workspace, as well as a game room, featuring a pool table, a foosball table, a bar area and an additional sofa bed (bedding included).
At one side of the chalet, a spectacular circular staircase leads to the second floor where you will find two bedrooms, each with a queen Murphy bed and a bathroom.
On the other side of the chalet, on the second floor, you will find the two master bedrooms, each with a king bed and en-suite bathroom and a third bedroom with two queen beds and an additional bathroom.
The secluded outdoor area of this chalet has a beautiful private in-ground pool available from mid-June to mid-September and sun loungers, as well as hot tub and sauna for a relaxing getaway. The serene outdoor space of Moose 89 also features patio furniture, a firepit with Adirondack chairs and 2 BBQs available for guest use all year-round.
Other amenities include a washer and dryer, satellite TV, Wi-Fi (Starlink – high speed unlimited access) and an electric vehicle charging station.

Rates
All rates are in Canadian Dollars (CDN) and are subject to all applicable taxes and fees:

Arrival and Departure Times
Check-in is as of 4:00 pm on the day of your arrival.
Check-out is before 11:00 am on the day of your departure.
Reservation Deposit
A reservation deposit of 50% of the total amount including all taxes will be required at the time of booking. Once your deposit has been authorized, your confirmation letter and invoice showing your reference number will be sent to you by email. The balance of your invoice will be charged to your credit card 5 days prior to your arrival.
Security Deposit
A preauthorized security deposit will be charged to your credit card 3 days prior to your arrival. The amount of the security deposit is of $2,000.00. The Fiddler Lake Resort personnel will inspect the property prior to your arrival and after your departure. The security deposit will only be released once it is confirmed that the property has not been damaged.
Any damages exceeding the amount of the security deposit will be charged to the same credit card used for the security deposit.
Minimum Age
The minimum age to book a chalet is 25 years old.
Number of Sleepers
The number of guests sleeping at the chalet must not exceed the sleeping capacity of the chalet indicated in the listing. Failure to comply with this rule will result in a penalty of $150.00 per additional person per night, to be deducted from the security deposit, and the termination of the rental agreement.
Day Guests
Guests staying in Rabbit or Bear chalets are allowed a maximum of 4 extra guests per day, free of charge.
Guests staying in Deer, Moose or Elk chalets are allowed a maximum of 6 extra guests per day, free of charge.
Departure time for day guests is 11:00 pm. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in a $500.00 charge to be deducted from your security deposit.
Care of the Property
You are expected to maintain the chalet during your stay and ensure it is returned in the same condition as when you arrived.
The chalets are constructed with wood flooring for your comfort and enjoyment. To preserve the flooring, all guests are required to remove all footwear (shoes, boots, sandals, etc.) after entering the chalet. Footwear can be left in the tiled area at the entrance of the chalet.
The chalet will be inspected after your departure. Any damage to the chalet will be deducted from the Security Deposit. If the chalet is left with an unreasonable mess, additional cleaning fees may apply.
Improper use of the spa
A photo of the water quality of the spa will be taken prior to your arrival.
In the event of improper use, the following charges will apply:
- Service call requested, shock treatment or extra water required: From $65.00
- Changing of water required: From $85.00
- Closure of the spa and/or complete cleaning: From $250.00
A routine check of the spa will be made every other day. Should your spa require service, you much contact us before 11:00 am.
The spa technician reserves the right to close and/or restrict use of the spa at any time if he/she determines that the spa is no longer safe to use due to improper use.
Fiddler Lake Resort and the chalets owners shall not be held responsible for any issues experienced following the use of the spa.
Pets
Pets are not permitted in the chalets. A penalty of $250.00 per day will be deducted from the Security Deposit in the event of non-compliance, in addition to the charges that can be deducted for damages caused by pets.
Non-Smoking Policy
It is strictly forbidden to smoke inside the chalet. The chalet will be inspected after your departure. A penalty of up to $1,000.00 applies in the event of non-compliance with this rule.
Outdoor Fires and Fireworks
For safety reasons, the City of Mille-Isles strictly forbids the use of fireworks, firecrackers as well as outdoor campfires. Outdoor fires are only allowed in a covered firepit. Failure to comply with this rule could result in a $500.00 penalty.
Noise Regulation
In accordance with the City of Mille-Isles nuisance by-law, noise likely to disturb the peace, tranquility, comfort, rest or well-being of citizens, or likely to prevent the peaceful use of property in the neighbourhood, constitutes a nuisance and is prohibited between 11:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. the following day. Failure to comply with this rule could result in a $1,000.00 penalty and the risk of expulsion from the Resort.
Recreational Vehicles
The installation and use of tents, trailers and any other recreational vehicles is not permitted on site.
Animals
Fiddler Lake Resort is located in the middle of the forest. To prevent animals (such as mice) from entering the chalet, it is important to ensure that exterior doors remain closed at all times.
Responsibility
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Parents and legal guardians are fully responsible for the safety of their children while on site.
All pools and lake are unsupervised. The decision to rent accommodations and use the amenities, activities, equipment and appliances (including but not limited to internet, telephone, spa, sauna, BBQ) at the chalet and at the Resort is entirely at your own risk.
Fiddler Lake Resort and the chalets owners shall not be held responsible for any incident or accident causing injury, death, loss of personal effects, or damage whatsoever to the guest(s) and/or to the guests’ personal property.
In the event of circumstances beyond our control, such as power outages, internet or satellite TV interruptions, water supply issues, or septic system issues, no refunds or compensation will be issued. Please note that the chalets are not equipped with generators.
Should an unforeseen situation arise (including those caused by severe weather or other natural events), Fiddler Lake Resort will make every reasonable effort to offer an equivalent chalet on site, subject to availability. However, Fiddler Lake Resort shall not be held responsible or liable for any further obligations resulting from such events.
Personal Information
Your personal information will not be sold nor offered to any third party for commercial purposes. Fiddler Lake Resort undertakes to protect the confidentiality and ensure the security of all personal information. The information gathered is stored securely, with access controlled by specific user authorizations. Personal information is only kept as long as required to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected.
You have the right to refuse promotional material offered by us relating to our products and services. However, you may authorize us to send you promotional materials.
You have the right to request access to your personal information collected by Fiddler Lake Resort. This information is stored for use in Canada and is subject to Canadian laws.
Cancellation Policy
The cancellation policy applicable to all reservations is as follows:
In the event of a cancellation, an administrative fee of 5% will be deducted from any reimbursement issued, regardless of the number of days prior to check-in date.
Consent
I have read, understand and agree to all the terms and conditions set out in the rental agreement that apply at Fiddler Lake Resort.
I HEREBY ACCEPT THAT ANY DAMAGE TO THE PROPERTY THAT EXCEEDS THE AMOUNT OF MY SECURITY DEPOSIT WILL BE CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD, UPON DEMONSTRATION OF PICTURES OF THE DAMAGES.
