Terms and Conditions
The cancellation of a reservation is subject to the following fees:
• 1 to 30 days prior to arrival = no reimbursement
• 31 to 45 days prior to arrival = 50% of Reservation Deposit
In the event of a ‘no show’, the guest will forfeit any deposit paid.
A reservation deposit of 50% before tax will be required at the time of booking. Once your deposit has been authorized, your confirmation letter and invoice showing your reference number will be forwarded. The balance of your invoice is due upon arrival.
A pre-authorization deposit of $500 for models Beaver, Rabbit, Bear and Deer Trail is required upon arrival. For the Moose and Elk trail style homes, the security deposit is $750 (An inspection will be made by Fiddler personnel before your arrival and after your departure).
We will not accept multiple security deposits or payments.
ALL DAMAGE EXCEEDING THE VALUE OF YOUR DEPOSIT WILL BE CHARGED TO THE CREDIT CARD BEEING USED FOR YOUR DEPOSIT.
No reservation under 25 years old.
IMPORTANT: * Number of SLEEPERS:
For insurance and safety purposes, the number of individuals SLEEPING in the rental property must not exceed the number confirmed by the sleeping capacity of the bedrooms of your chalet including children after 3 years old. PLEASE SEE BELOW THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF SLEEPERS FOR YOUR CHALET TYPE. Failure to comply with this term will result in terminating this agreement.
A “List of sleepers and visitors” will be sent to you once we receive your acceptance of the conditions. That list must be completed and returned to Fiddler Lake Resort prior to your arrival. It is mandatory and your responsibility to provide the names of your guests & visitors to enable everyone admittance to the site. If not received prior to your arrival, our Security Department has the right to refuse any visitors and guests to the property. Day Visitors are your invited guests who are not included on your invoice at time of reservation. Departure time for these visitors is 1:00 A.M. Failure to comply with this regulation will result in a $500.00 charge for all late visitors’ departures. These charges will be deducted from your security deposit.
Non-Smoking: Please note that this is a non-smoking property. According to By-Law #0.01, a fine of up to $500.00 can be incurred. Our Inspection Team will assess the home after your departure. Any damages due to smoking indoors will be at the renter’s cost.
Fire Place: No natural wood is allowed for the fireplaces. Green logs are the only logs permitted. Boxes of logs with starters can be purchased at the reception.
BBQ: Permitted only from May 1st to October 31st due to security purposes.
Pets are not allowed on the Fiddler Property. A fine of $100 per day will be applied to the Security Deposit if evidence occurs during the client’s stay and you will be charged for any other damages caused by your pet.
Care of the Property:
Our homes are privately owned and each owner expects clients to maintain their property in a clean and presentable state throughout your stay.
Fiddler Lake Resort homes are constructed with wood flooring for your comfort and enjoyment. In order to maintain the integrity of these floors, renters are required to remove all foot ware (shoes, boots, sandals, etc) after entering the house. Homes are equipped with tiled areas at most entrances. Please remove your shoes and leave them in the tiled area. Any damages to flooring as a result of not removing foot wear will be at the renter’s cost.
The house will be inspected after your departure and if the home is not left in a satisfactory state, charges to your Security Deposit could be incurred.
Children’s safety is the entire responsibility of the parents as there will be no lifeguard at the lake or at the pool house at anytime.
Fiddler Lake Resort Obligations:
In case of unforeseen events out of our control (including those caused by mother nature), Fiddler Lake Resort will make all its efforts to find the equivalent at our resort. If that is impossible, assistance will be provided to locate a similar rental property in the area. Fiddler Lake Resort will not be held responsible or liable for any further obligations arising from this event.
The decision to rent accommodations and use of all facilities/appliances/ canoes, (including the use of Internet, telephone, electrical appliances, spa, sauna, BBQ, etc.) are entirely at the renter's risk.
No responsibility can be accepted by Fiddler Lake Resort or the house owners for any event resulting in death, injury, loss of personal effects, or damage whatsoever to the renter or his/her guests' personal property.
In case of an uncontrollable situation (power failure, Internet interruption, water shortage, sewers failure, phone interruption), no refund will be processed.
Check-In: 4:00 PM.

I have read, understand and agree to all terms of the rental agreement that apply at Fiddler Lake Resort.
I HEREBY ACCEPT THAT ANY DAMAGE TO THE PROPERTY EXCEEDING THE VALUE OF MY DEPOSIT SHALL BE CHARGED TO MY CREDIT CARD UPON DEMONSTRATION OF PICTURES OF THE DAMAGES.
Your personal information will not be sold or offered to a third party for commercial purposes. Fiddler Lake Resort is engaged to protect and secure all personal information. This information is stored in a secured space and controlled by a specified user. The information is kept for the time required only.
You can refuse promotional material offered by Fiddler Lake Resort concerning our product and service. However, upon your request, Fiddler Lake Resort will send you promotional material.
Upon request, we will provide you with access to your personal information collected by Fiddler Lake Resort. This information is stored and used in Canada and therefore abiding to Canadian laws.
